Ridley Scott and author Cormac McCarthy join forces in the motion picture thriller THE COUNSELOR, starring Michael Fassbender, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, and Brad Pitt. (ENTV)

When the teaser trailer was released earlier this year for “The Counselor,” fans got a sneak peek of a scene in which Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz were almost topless by the pool, drinking cocktails.

Now the newly released full trailer shows two minutes of non-stop thriller, mystery and, yes, even that nearly topless scene that caught everyone’s attention in the teaser.

This film showcases a partly all-star Latino cast featuring Diaz, Cruz and Cruz’s husband, Javier Bardem, and is directed by Ridley Scott.

The film stars Michael Fassbender, who plays Counselor, a lawyer who lives a glamorous life but gets involved in the cocaine trafficking business, winding up way in over his head with some very shady people.

Counselor teams up with Reiner, a wealthy acquaintance played by Bardem in the dangerous business of drug trafficking, just as Brad Pitt’s criminal character, Westray, comes into play — and things take a turn for the worst.
