TIJUANA — While the U.S. Supreme Court considers same-sex marriage, the issue has been the subject of much discussion south of the border as well this week in Baja California’s hard-fought gubernatorial campaign.
After making comments critical of gay marriage and gay adoptions during a televised gubernatorial debate Wednesday, the candidate for Mexico’s Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) spent the next two days qualifying his remarks.
