Child Fund Mexico is part of the parent company, Child Fund International which works in 31 countries and assisting approximately 17.8 million children and their family members in 2012.
Their mission is to give children not only the potential to survive and thrive, but also to become leaders who bring positive change for those around them. This organization has done extraordinary work for millions of children around the world since 1938 and is well organized.
In Mexico, this group is working in approximately 316 communities in 7 states that include Veracruz, Hidalgo, Puebla, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Michoacán, and Estado de Mexico. There are approximately 36 thousand children (55% which are indigenous) that are being directly helped from donors in Mexico and abroad.
