USA Visa Style: Video from the US Embassy in Costa Rica (US Embassy San Jose)
Earlier this week, the U.S. Embassy in San Jose, Costa Rica released their version of South Korean Psy’s “Gangname Style,” but the video isn’t just about fun.
The Embassy says it created the video as a fun way to inform would-be victims about visa scams.
“USA Visa Style” aims to ensure that “no Costa Rican fall into the traps of scammers who promise to ‘help’ illegally obtaining a visa, a job or residence in the United States.”
“They try to deceive people to take their money,” the video description reads.
Costa Rican singer Daniel Castillo helped with the video and if you look carefully, even Ambassador Anne Slaughter Andrew can be seen dancing for the cause.
