MEXICO CITY - More than 15,000 people gathered at Revolution Monument yesterday to participate in the world’s largest yoga “super class,” led by Naam Yoga Los Angeles Healing and Research Center founder Dr. Joseph Michael Levry. This surpasses the world record for a single-location yoga class in 2010.

"This historic event demonstrates how quickly Naam yoga has spread throughout the world,” said Rebeca Torres, founder of Naam Mexico. “The hearts of the people of Mexico have been touched by the healing power of Naam yoga and we are thankful to contribute to Naam yoga’s global community and to the healing of the planet. We are so grateful to Dr. Levry for his unconditional love and support,” Ms. Torres said.

“We came together to do something positive and good for the city, the country and planet,” said Dr. Levry. “Our world needs a lot of love, peace and light. We created a lot of healing energy. We used the technology of Naam yoga, we positively changed our molecular vibration, and raised the frequency of the city, country and the planet with the healing vibration of love, peace, and light. It was a beneficial explosion of light that expands throughout the world,” he said.

Naam yoga is unlike other yoga modalities, as it includes the evolving Shakti Naam practice and unique combinations of movement, breath work and healing through sound (mantra). Shakti Naam is considered an anti-aging, disease defying practice for this age, which has its roots in a powerful form of yoga also utilized by two prime ministers of India, Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Ghandi.
