Yuma Sector U.S. Border Patrol agents encountered an unusual sight just after midnight Tuesday when they found a Jeep Cherokee stuck on top of the international boundary fence in the Imperial Sand Dunes area, according to a press release.

Two people were trying to drive over the fence using a make-shift ramp that didn’t quite do the job.

When agents arrived on scene, the two people fled into Mexico, and after removing the car from the fence, agents seized the vehicle and ramps.

The fence is about 14-feet-high where the Jeep got stuck.
