Reverend Billy Freakstorm: The Consumers Consumed the Consumer Billy Talen - The Church of Earthalujah
go to original October 15, 2012

The End Times are such a great show! The tsunamis and heat-waves and flash floods and volcanoes bounce on the horizon like Loony Tunes. Soon we will download a mile-wide tornado dropping into a city and marvel at it, like watching Lady Gaga doing the splits in a dress made of T-bone steaks.

Reverend Billy, The Church of Earthalujah, & The Stop Shopping Gospel Choir believe that Consumerism is overwhelming our lives and the planet. We escape the old fundamentalist god but find life itself funny, scary, and it makes the 35 voice Stop Shopping Gospel Choir want to sing and shout! The fires and droughts and quakes and typhoons are not natural disasters but shout-outs from this big living thing we're a part of. Earthalujah!
