Live Updates: Anxiety but No Signs of Chaos as COVID Border Policy Ends (The New York Times)
A pandemic-related policy which severely limited the number of migrants entering the United States on its southern border has been lifted.
The legislation, known as Title 42, has been used to expel 2.7 million people from the US since it was introduced in March, 2020.
But it has been replaced by strict new rules.
