The Amazon rainforest in Brazil is home to the largest number of non-contacted and recently-contacted indigenous tribes in the world.
They have been living in reserves set up for their protection, but the country's economic crisis and growing pressure to exploit the rich resources on those reserves could lead to the extinction of many communities.
Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports from Javari Indigenous Reserve in the Brazilian Amazon.
