SpaceX sends icecream to astronauts, humanity is doing it right (PressTV)
SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, which was launched on Monday, had a very unlikely cargo. Along with 6,400 pounds of cargo, live mice and science experiments, one sweet treat for the six International Space Station astronauts is also there.
Thirty small cups of ice cream are packed in three freezers for the astronauts to enjoy, while they look at Earth from outer space.
Usually, astronauts have to be content with pre-packaged fresh fruit or preserved foods.
... These ice creams are not something that you can buy at a store unless it's one of the Kennedy Space Center gift shops.
While it looks pretty close to an ice cream, its texture is crunchy and it's a far cry from the regular ones.
