The Baja Blues Festival is a 3-day event full of blues music. Its mission, however, isn't just to provide entertainment, it's also to help the local community.
This year the proceeds from the festival will be helping four different charities in the area, all related to education and helping children from the area.
The Rosarito Beach Hotel has been the venue hosting this event for the past six years, and they say this festival has become a tradition in Baja California.
Many big name artist will be performing at this years Baja Blues Fest. This year the festival is expected to be the biggest by far with really good music, great drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere all while enjoying the beach.
Organizers of the event say part of their mission statement is to promote tourism and bring people back to Rosarito to show them what a warm safe place it can be.
This year the Baja Blues Festival will take place August 18th through the 20th. If you do not have your ticket already, you can purchase it at Bajabluesfest.org.
