Beauty and the Beast Latino Mariachi Band Remake (We are mitú)

The Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar offered a fresh take on a Disney classic in a new We are mitú video.

The Los Angeles ensemble performed a timely Mariachi-style rendition of “A Tale As Old As Time” from “Beauty and the Beast.” The remake, which came just days before the live action film is set to premiere, replaces the film’s iconic dance scene with a version choreographed by Los Angeles’ Ballet Folklorico Company.

Fans of the original Disney animated film will notice how the video recreates the scene, from the iconic yellow dress Belle wears to the two dancers bowing at the top of a staircase.
