As tension rises, Conan O’Brien has hit upon a solution. O’Brien announced on his show Thursday night that he will head to Mexico City to film a new primetime special, Conan Without Borders: Made in Mexico.
“I’ve been thinking, and I thought I’d do something positive,” O’Brien told his viewers on Thursday night. “So here’s the plan. I’m gonna head down to Mexico City, rent a television studio, and shoot an episode of our show with an all-Mexican crew, guests, and studio audience.”
The special will be taped in Mexico City and will air on March 1 at 10 p.m. on TBS. It marks the sixth time O’Brien has gone international in two years, with notable recent stops in Germany and Cuba.
