Relatives Still Searching for the 43 Missing Students from Ayotzinapa Global Times

Last week, relatives of the 43 students launched “Caravan +43 for the memory of hope,” a series of activities staged at various towns as they made their way to Mexico City to remind authorities that the students have been missing for more than two years without any definitive – or verifiable – official word on what happened to them. Relatives and friends of 43 students of the Raul Isidro Burgos rural school who disappeared on September 26, 2014 in the city of Iguala, demonstrated in demand of justice in front of the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City on Monday.

The students, from a rural teachers college in the southern state of Guerrero, disappeared after they were attacked by local police in Iguala on September 26, 2014.
