The New UberEATS Is Here (Uber)

According to new guidelines released by Uber - passengers who want to avoid getting banned from the ride-sharing service will have to refrain from flirting, vomitting or having sex in the cab.

Uber released the new guidelines, that it said was based on passenger behavior and focussed on topics like safety, vandalism and sex.



The rules specified by Uber include - damaging drivers' or other passengers' property, physical contact with riders, use of inappropriate/abusive language or gestures, unwanted contact with riders after a trip is over and breaking the local law while using Uber.

The rules specified that “breaking or vandalizing phones and other property, intentionally spilling food or drinks inside the car, smoking, or vomiting, due to being too drunk, can get you kicked out.”

It further stated, “Passengers are not allowed to touch or flirt with other people in the car, including the driver, as there is a ‘no sex’ rule.”

Uber said it has a “zero-tolerance policy on sexual conduct.”
