Real Future: The Man Making Sex Robots for the Masses (Fusion)

Offering a rather shocking sneak peek into the future of relationships - scientists believe that sex with robots is the ‘inevitable’ future and a sign of “evolving intimate relationships.”

Blow up dolls and sex toys will soon become a thing of the past as an army of swanky new, life-like and seductive robots take over the world of intimacy.

The popularity of sex robots has been growing in the shadows for years now and if scientists are to be believed, humans would soon be having sex with robots, making human intimacy a thing of the past.

Recently, Dr Helen Driscoll from the University of Sunderland was quoted as saying, “As virtual reality becomes more realistic and immersive and is able to mimic and even improve on the experience of sex with a human partner; it is conceivable that some will choose this in preference to sex with a less than perfect human being.”

She adds that there would also be a possibility of humans falling in “love with their virtual reality partners.”
