Un Par De Lugares (Café Tacvba)

Just weeks after dropping their first single "Un par de lugares," iconic Mexican rock band Café Tacvba has graced their fans with a beautiful music video to go along with the feel-good tune.

Featuring badass Mexican surfer Leila Takeda, who won Mexico's national surfing championship, the clip was directed by Puerto Rican director Alejandro Pedrosa and Café Tacvba's frontman Rubén Albarrán and filmed in the beaches of Nayarit, Mexico.

While the video does include stunning shots of Takeda riding the waves of the Pacific Ocean, the clip also sends out a clear message of environmental degradation and in one particular scene, you see bulldozers on the beach, implying the destruction of ecosystems and nature. Cafeta is known for their activism on social issues and environmental causes.

"Un par de lugares" is the band's first single in four years.
