The current Mexican minimum wage set by the government and their business friends violates the Constitution. Peña Nieto has made Mexico the only country in the region where the minimum wage is less than the poverty line.

But Peña Nieto is not interested in knowing that his economic policy is drowning a significant number of Mexicans. He is on permanent tour, traveling. He had the fearlessness to spend September 26th in Colombia, the second anniversary of the forced disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students and then leave to attend Shimon Peres' funeral in Israel.

It’s evident that the country’s problems don’t make Peña Nieto lose sleep. Instead of dealing with the flood of problems, he chooses to ignore the situation and no longer govern. Anyway, he only has two more years left before he can leave to live splendidly with his life-time pension.

The attitude of the man of Los Pinos [The Pines, presidential residence] is irresponsible to say the least. His approval level is about 23 percent; the lowest number given to recent Mexican presidents. He doesn’t care about that either. And even less so, that eight of every ten Mexicans think the country is on the wrong track since he took over the Eagle’s Throne [formal seat of the President].

Mr. Peña Nieto’s precipitous fall is unstoppable. The failure of his reforms [energy, education, taxes], Ayotzinapa, broken promises and lies. He said the price of electricity would not increase, and it did. He promised no more price increases on gasoline and he lied.

Two thirds of the population disapproves of EPN’s management. This means the man should not govern anymore. And he has understood it. That’s why he decided to coast for the next 24 months.
