Marko and Alex Ayling, brothers, backpackers, and video bloggers are on a mission to explore the world through its people. We're on the road all the time, cranking out videos a few times a week. (Vagabrothers)
Today's generation of young, connected consumers have the desire to travel the world and discover new and exciting places. They want to reach beyond the guidebooks and do more than simply see the sights; they want to return home with unique experiences and a new understanding of the destinations and cultures they visit.
Marko and Alex Ayling, known online as the "Vagabrothers" are not only active members of this generation, but advocates for it, utilizing their talents in videography and storytelling to share unique travel experiences with dedicated followers, and inspiring them to embark on their own cultural journeys. The Mexico City Tourism Trust (Fondo Mixto de Promoción Turística del Distrito Federal) has partnered with The Vagabrothers to develop a four-part video series, launching today, to introduce their millennial audience to Mexico City's charm in ways that appeal directly to their interests.
Through this collaboration, the Vagabrothers traveled to Mexico City this summer and over the course of a week, met with tourism representatives as well as Mexico City-based influencers, recommended experts and insiders – from artists to mixologists, chefs and business owners – to capture featured content for the series. Focusing on a variety of topics from history and culture to design, art and distinct neighborhoods, each of the four videos will feature the Vagabrothers' winning recipe of strong visuals, engaging interactions and passionate delivery.
The videos will be released on the Vagabrothers YouTube Channel on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning today, September 13, through Saturday, September 24, and the launch will be supported by social posts across @Vagabrothers and @MexicoCityLive channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
