MODOBAG: Rideable Carry-on Luggage! (Modobag)

The geniuses behind the Kickstarter project Modobag have finally done the impossible: they've made wandering through an airport fun. And it doesn't involve one of those idiotic hoverboards that don't hover. The idea behind it is far more clever – they strapped an electric motor to a carry-on sized bag and turned it into a scooter itself.

The scooter can carry a human up to the weight of 260 pounds, so you won't have to turn down the next round of beers in case you wanna give this a go. It can fully charge in an hour, and can travel up to six miles. That's an insane stretch, considering the longest distance from gate to gate is at San Francisco and only covers 0.76 miles.

An awesome addition to an already crazy, fun-looking bag are two USB outlets that will charge your devices while you zip around LAX.

You can expect the Modobag to reach about eight miles per hour. This isn't a motorcycle after all. But then again, this kills two birds with one stone and doesn't require you to lug around any additional modes of transport.

The Modobag is currently only available on Kickstarter and will set you back just shy of a thousand bucks.
