Around 10,000 Central American migrants are considered missing after trying to cross Mexico, searching for the American dream, the local media revealed today.

Catholic Church priest Jose Alejandro Solalinde warned that it was a conservative figure, because the Central American Migrant Movement estimated at more than 70,000 missing people from 2006 to the present date.

For the coordinator of the South Pacific Human Mobility Pastoral of the Mexican Episcopate, there is complicity from the different Government authorities, marked by impunity regarding these crimes.

He specified that the number of national citizens that try to get to the United States and never get there is also large.
