This is bullfighting. One minute is all you need to see to know that this torture is wrong. (PETA UK)

Cotija jointed the municipalities of Michoacán that have banned bullfighting.

The state leader of the Green Party of Mexico (PVEM), Jonathan Sanata González, said the aim is to ban bullfighting in all the 113 municipalities of Michoacán and prevent animal torture.

The municipalities against bullfights are Cotija, Pátzcuaro, Tlalpujahua, Tangancícuaro, Tepalcatepec, Tzintzuntzan and Tocumbo.

Sanata González urged the state legislature to put the issue on the table, in order to successfully implement the ban throughout the state.
