Muslims from the town of San Cristobal de las Casas gathered to mark the holy Islamic month of Ramadan, Tuesday, as indigenous Mayans and Tzotzil community in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas are increasingly converting to the religion.
Worshipper (Spanish): "We are in San Cristobal de Las Casas, in the Colonia Nueva Esperanza, in the mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat."
Worshipper (Spanish): "To be a Muslim is not only the Chilaba, it is not just a beard, it is not only the hat, the Muslim is what's on the streets, your thinking, your actions, everything."
