Inaugural Mike's Peak Hill Climb Challenge Brings Racers to Baja California Alisha Land - Off Road Xtreme

If you’ve got an off-road vehicle or rally car and thirst for adventure, you want to head to Baja California, Mexico and the legendary Mike’s Sky Rancho for the inaugural Mike’s Peak Hill Climb Challenge happening October 13-16, 2016.

This 4-day event is open to all off-road vehicles, whether they are the two, three, or four-wheeled varieties and will offer classes that include SST/short course trucks, rock crawlers, desert trucks, buggies, UTV’s motorcycles, quads, Ultra 4’s and rally cars as well as others.

This event is in honor of 50 years of Baja Racing on the road to Mike’s and is sponsored by SST and the Ranch.

The route is 31km with an approximately 4,000-foot ascent that winds through cattle guards and water crossings. The course is littered with off-camber corners, severe washouts, and shear drops into canyons — drivers will have to stay on their toes.

...Fans and drivers alike will definitely be fans of this event that will offer on-site camping, multiple road access to viewing points and close proximity to San Felipe Valley, Trinidad and Ensenada which is only 52 miles away, going East on Hwy 3. There will also be a Mexican Fiesta each night under the stars, for all the drivers and guests to look forward to after each day of exciting races.
