Courageous women & @CentroHumano leaders preparing to travel from CO for #100Women100Miles Pilgrimage to #PopeFrancis (#100Women100Miles)

100 women from all over the country are preparing for a journey that will take them from York, Pennsylvania to Washington D.C. The group seeks Pope Francis' support in carrying the message of human dignity for migrants to lawmakers.

Inside a small home in Tijuana, a group of women and their supporters gather for a time dedicated to good food, conservation, and comfort.

"They give support to each other by talking to each other and getting together at least once a week, and getting information," said Maria Galleta, who is participating in the walk.

Participants in the group have one thing in common, the severe hardship and suffering that deportation brings to a family. Four of the women are US citizens. They work as advocates, helping reunite families. They drive to Tijuana to provide support for the group.
