Parents of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students read a counter State of the Union Address at the Monument to the Revolution in Mexico City on Tuesday. Along with student protesters and NGOs, they heavily criticized President Enrique Peña Nieto for the ongoing impunity in the country and his failure to mention the constant killings, disappearances and evictions taking place.
Once again they disputed the government version of the disappearance of the Ayotzinapa students and called on the Mexican government to continue the investigation based on the findings of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
