To the absolute delight of Trekkies everywhere, it’s been announced that William Shatner - of Star Trek and Priceline Negotiator fame (I know you just did the jingle in your head when you read that) - will be hosting the first ever Star Trek cruise, come 2017. Shatner (a.k.a. the original James T. Kirk) will be headlining the six day, six night cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl in celebration of the iconic sci-fi franchise’s 50th anniversary.

The official cruise will set sail out of Miami, and the ship will voyage to both Mexico and the Bahamas. Passengers aboard the Norwegian Pearl will be treated to an assortment of themed events and entertainment, including but not limited to comedy shows, performances, themed parties and activities, concerts, and Star Trek-related expert talks and panels.
