Promo Otero Brutal Fest 2014 (Brutal Fest)
The International Rock Festival, Brutal Fest, unique of its kind in Cuba, begins today with the performances by three bands from Switzerland, one from Canada, one from Mexico, and several bands from the Caribbean island.
The opening concert of this biennial and itinerant event will be held tonight in the eastern city of Holguin, and will move through Bayamo, Santiago de Cuba, Camaguey, Santa Clara, Havana, and Pinar del Rio, until August 23.
Brutal Fest emerged in 2008 as a national festival, but due to its attractiveness for foreign bands that perform this genre, it became international two years later, and since then, about 75 foreign bands have participated in the event.
