More than 60,000 visitors are expected for the Cirque Du Soleil’s “Corteo” Premiere Season in Mérida this summer.

Approximately 12,000 of these will come from the southeastern states of Mexico, since the Yucatecan capital is the only city in the region featuring the show known as “Corteo”, one of the most famous of this renown theatre company.

The Cirque Du Soleil spectacle "JOYA" that is currently showing at the Riviera Maya is different in size, significantly smaller than the one that will be in Merida.

Featuring presentations from Thursday June 25th, through Sunday July 12th, one daily show during weekdays and two on Saturdays and Sundays.

A custom made air conditioned facility in the shape of a huge white tent will be mounted on the Yucatan Coliseum parking lot, with capacity for 2,700 people featuring wheelchair access for handicap people.
