If the impacts of climate change can’t be reined in, we may not even be able to drink our troubles away.

According to a brief report from some Canadian meteorologists, five of the world’s most popular alcoholic beverages may become scarce as growing conditions and other factors change in coming years.

Among them, tequila could become scarce because agave, the key ingredient, grows more quickly in warming temperatures, leading to less sugar in the plants. Beer could suffer as drought hurts regions that traditionally produce barley.

So drink up - while you still can!
