Controversial ride-sharing service Uber is surveying its drivers about their interest in driving customers between the United States to Mexico.

The company floated the idea through a series of emails (click here for screen grabs) posted to a private Facebook group for its drivers. Uber offered incentives to drivers, promising additional trip requests and higher fare trips to anyone who opted in to the new route.

Drivers, however, seemed less than enthusiastic, based on their Facebook comments.
