Parents of disappeared Ayotzinapa students traveled to Geneva, Switzerland, to testify before the ten independent experts on the Committee On Forced Disappearance at the United Nations (UN). They will demand that the current Mexican government present their children alive, "that justice be done and the truth be known."
Bernabé Abraján, father of Adán, one of the disappeared students, and Hilda Legideño Vargas, mother of José Antonio Tizapa, another student, declared that they are turning to this UN agency to demand "that our sons be returned to us, because there is no justice for the poor in this country. We are going to ask them to intercede for us, that they ask the Mexican government to tell us the truth."
...Legideño Vargas added that the human rights defenders submitted a report to the agency with at least ten outstanding items still to be resolved in the investigation conducted by the Attorney General's Office (PGR). The items include:
