Enrique Pena Nieto's ¡Bienvenido 2015! #MéxicoGrande (Gobierno de la República)

Mexico's President's Office posted a video on social networks calling for citizens to stay together as "divisions or surrender will not help."

The message includes a fragment of a speech by President Enrique Peña Nieto in which he says: "Difficult times test the strength, fortitude and greatness of nations. Given the circumstances, let us show once again the unity, character and determination of Mexicans."

The video starts with images of demonstrations of anarchists, the damages caused by hurricane Odile, the student protests of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), the death of a child from bullying, the suffering of migrants and the pollution of rivers in Sonora.

Then, as the video shows images of a march on Paseo de la Reforma and the damages caused by hurricane Odile in Baja California Sur, a child narrates that these have been difficult moments for all of us.
