Natives from Michoacán want to support the group headed by the founder of self-defense forces.
After the confrontation in La Ruana in which the eldest son of Hipólito Mora, former founder of self-defense forces, died, natives from Michoacán living in the United States are collecting money for his group, associations and people participating in the initiative said.
Along with them, the pastor of the church of La Ruana opened his Bancomer account 0193402940 to receive donations for the funerals of the members of the group of Mora Chávez and to help the organization.
For security reasons the Michoacán natives asked to be identified only by thier first name.
"We are not sending money so that they fight between each other, all we want is to protect the families that are still there," Javier explained. He added that many Michoacán natives are seeking asylum in the United States.
José, who lives in California, said that the group headed by Hipólito Mora is at a disadvantage against Antonio Torres "El Americano".
"El Americano has better clothes and weapons, he has bought new trucks while the people of Mora wear used clothes and weapons. We have to help them," he explained.
