There is no denying the fact that a sedentary lifestyle is one of the biggest reason for obesity. A latest research has found that inactive lifestyle is far more lethal compared to higher calorie intake.
There is no denying the fact that large number of calorie intake causes obesity. No one will actually argue over the fact that taking more calories than what we burn during the day is going to cause obesity. Bigger the difference in calorie intake and its burning, higher the chance that the person is going to be the next victim of obesity.
But now a latest study has concluded that inactive lifestyle is far more dangerous than even the higher consumption of calories.
In previous studies almost everyone has said that it is calorie intake that is behind the exploding obesity across the world. almost thirty percent people across the world are now obese with US, China, Mexico having the largest share of such people. When it comes to population ratio this is close to 37 percent in the US.
Researchers say that during the past two decades there have been sharp decrease in physical exercise and increase in average body mass index (BMI), while caloric intake has remained steady, so investigators have theorized that a nationwide drop in leisure-time physical activity, especially among young women, might be responsible for the upward trends in obesity rates.
