It’s a good week to be Carlos Santana. The Grammy-winning guitarist’s new disc, Corazon, has scored a number-nine debut on the Billboard album chart, and topped the magazine’s Latin album chart.

Corazon, which is also the first album of Santana’s career to contain solely Latin music, finds him collaborating with a wide range of artists, including Gloria Estefan, Ziggy Marley, Latin rapper Pitbull and jazz great Wayne Shorter.

Explaining the new album’s title, Santana tells ABC News Radio, “Of all the physical parts of the anatomy of a woman or a man, I think the heart is probably the one who propels you into a state of grace… So we call it Corazon because we feel the heart is a powerful spiritual muscle that creates visions of hope, trust and faith.”
