The World's Largest Shrimp Cocktail was made south of the border in Playa La Carbonera (Gobierno de Tamaulipas)
Officials confirmed that the "World's Largest Shrimp Cocktail" was made at Playa La Carbonera on Good Friday.
The 2,557-pound shrimp cocktail was made with hundreds of spectators and applause.
Matzalan, Sinaloa previously held the record with a 1,186-pound shrimp cocktail.
... After the shrimp cocktail was certified for the Guiness World Book of Records in New York, it was divided up to share among the spectators.
