In this video, Polaris Project CEO Bradley Myles discussed how Palantir Gotham enables Polaris to move beyond individual responses to see connections between cases and identify global trafficking patterns and networks. (Palantir)
Since 2013, the Philanthropy Engineering team has partnered closely with Polaris Project. Polaris Project operates the National Human Trafficking Hotline and is at the forefront of the global fight against human trafficking. According to the ILO, human trafficking is a $32bn business in exploiting human beings, second only to the global illegal drugs trade.
Polaris Project uses Palantir Gotham to quickly respond to reported cases of human trafficking, connect victims to critical services, and analyze the data from over 95,000 hotline calls to help end the scourge of modern-day slavery.
