The government of Mexico's Federal District (GDF) announced the introduction of free internet access at eight busy public spaces, as part of the city's digital innovation strategy, reports El Sol de Mexico.
The digital agenda aims to optimize administrative services, information and communication, encourage citizen participation and reduce the digital divide through internet access in public places.
The locations that will get free internet access are Constitution Square, Central Alameda, Garibaldi Square, the Bosque de Tlalpan, Aragon, Chapultepec, Viveros de Coyoacan, as well as the Mexico and Spain parks.
