Between forests and deserts, fireworks and Day of the Deads, lively cities and pueblos, Mexico evokes many contrasting images, but no preconceptions can do justice to the reality of the country.

Unique in Mexico, El Chepe runs through the Sierra Tarahumara, while going through the beautiful landscapes of Barranca del Cobre to Sinaloa. With over 50 years of tradition serving the people of Chihuahua and its visitors, it is the only passenger train in operation in Mexico. Its mission is to connect the states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa, in addition to providing an unforgettable experience.

This beautiful rail travels through one of the most spectacular roads in the country, not only for the landscapes it offers, but also for the unparalleled opportunity for the traveler to be in contact with Raramuri culture, one of the oldest and best preserved of Mexico.
