The Sport Fishing Club of Tepic has announced the 54th edition of the International Sport Fishing Tournament which was held in San Blas for 51 years and two years ago moved to the Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
It is expected that more than 400 fishing enthusiasts will attend this third edition tournament to be held from Wednesday, October 15 until Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz.
The anglers will compete for more than four and a half million pesos in prizes including cars, sport fishing equipment, marine motors and more.
As is a tradition within Riviera Nayarit Sport Fishing Tournaments, every team that doesn't win a car or any other prize will participate in the raffle for a brand new car.
The categories are:
• Sailfish
• Marlin
• Tuna
• Dorado (Mahi Mahi)
This year, the team entry fee of 21,000 pesos includes the daily "jackpot" for sailfish.
