The richest of the rich are on Forbes “World Billionaires” 2012 list, which consists of 11 Mexican billionaires, with fortunes ranging from $69 to $1 billion.

At the top of the list is Carlos Slim, $69 billion, who beat Bill Gates, $61 billion, as the richest man on earth.

At the bottom of the list with an estimated net worth of $1 billion is one of the most wanted drug traffickers, Joaquin Guzman Loera aka “El Chapo.” Guzman is the head of the Sinaloa cartel. The United States has offered $5 million reward for his capture.

These Mexican billionaire’s net worth has been made through investments stretching media to drug trafficking.
