Over the weekend a 3 year old died in an SUV after being left in the vehicle parked outside of a Dallas church. This year alone there have been 23 hot car deaths in 14 states. Experts say heat stroke can happen when the outside temps are as low as 57 degrees.

The National Safety Council is urging parents to look before they lock, and GM has created new technology in the 2017 GMC Acadia that will alert drivers if a rear door had been opended prior to the start of their drive. Parents can also download apps that configure to the cars bluetooth.  - wochit News
